Tabling and Presenting at the NASPA Annual Conference 2026

This year, Muslim Campus Life had the incredible opportunity to attend the NASPA Annual Conference 2026, one of the largest gatherings of student affairs professionals. Hosted in Kansas City, the conference brought together educators, practitioners, and thought leaders committed to advancing student success across higher education.

Representing Muslim Student Voices

Our mission has always centered on uplifting and supporting Muslim students on campus. Attending NASPA allowed us to bring these conversations to a broader audience, highlighting both the unique challenges and the resilience of Muslim communities in higher education. Throughout the conference, we engaged with professionals from diverse institutions, exchanging ideas and building connections that will strengthen how campuses support religious inclusion moving forward.

Presenting: Confronting Islamophobia on Campus

One of the highlights of our time at NASPA was the opportunity to present on:
“Confronting Islamophobia on Campus: Introduction to Islamophobia.”

Our session focused on:

  • Providing an introduction to Islamophobia and how it manifests in campus environments
  • Sharing real experiences of Muslim students navigating higher education
  • Offering practical strategies for educators and administrators to create safer, more inclusive spaces

The discussion was both meaningful and energizing. We were encouraged by the engagement from attendees who are actively seeking ways to better support their Muslim student populations.

Building Connections

Beyond sessions and presentations, NASPA provided a valuable space for connection. We met with student affairs professionals, diversity practitioners, and campus leaders who are passionate about equity and inclusion.

These conversations reaffirmed the importance of collaboration. Supporting Muslim students is not a standalone effort. It requires institutions, educators, and communities working together. We’re deeply grateful to everyone who attended our session, engaged in conversations, and expressed interest in our work.
