At this year’s ICNA convention in Baltimore, MD, Muslim Campus Life presented a powerful panel session focused on navigating the current campus climate. The panel featured Dr. Nisa Muhammad, Dr. Altaf Husain, Imam Khalid Latif, and Associate Director Asma Malik.
This panel represented a convergence of practical experience and scholarly expertise in Muslim student affairs. The speakers’ combined backgrounds in religious leadership, academic administration, and student advocacy provided a comprehensive perspective on the challenges facing Muslim students and the institutional changes needed to support their success.
The discussion emphasized the importance of proactive institutional support, the value of Muslim representation in university leadership, and the need for continued dialogue between students, faculty, and administrators to create truly inclusive campus environments.
